Ashurst Brown & Co Ltd was founded by Kim Ashurst and her mantra is always "there must be a better way of doing this"! This is the ethos of the company. That there is ALWAYS a better way of processing information which reduces the amount of time taken up of the business owner and their team.
"I love everything to do with technology, particularly online services, whether it's accounts, CRMs, ERPO systems or just plain e-mail use! In my 12 years of working in an accountancy practice I would see how technology could help a business improve their workflow and efficiency. It amazed me how often a simple discussion starting with "did you know that you can do that more easily, do you want me to show you?" would lead to a significant improvement in that particular business process. The owner would be more chuffed about that than their accounts!.
Its safe to say I'm passionate about it!"
Kim is a qualified Chartered Accountant of over 10 years, she's worked in accountancy for 10+ years and has a BA (Hons) in Accountancy with Law.
